Paul A. Seccaspina Ph.D.
CEO Oraclepoll Research
Dr. Seccaspina the Principal and Founder of Oraclepoll Research has extensive experience in the areas of public opinion polling, political
polling, customer satisfaction research, public health, survey design, qualitative / quantitative research methodology and project management.
He obtained his BA from Laurentian University (1986) an MA from the University of Western Ontario (1988) and a PhD from the University of Warwick (1997).
He has an extensive background in academia and applied research. Dr. Seccaspina’s career involved 5 years in the banking industry and
6 years as a University Lecturer at various institutions in Canada and abroad including the Czech Republic, Romania, and Moldova before
he founded Oraclepoll Research in 1995.
He handles all aspects of individual research projects including: customer consultation, design, survey supervision, analysis, final reporting
and report presentation.
His clients are from both the private and public sectors and he has handled projects in the areas of telecommunications, education, the
resource sector, health care, environmental and media fields.
He frequently appears in print and broadcast media providing comments on politics and public opinion. Dr. Seccaspina is a member of MRIA (Marketing Research and Intelligence Association).
Manon Baril
President
Ms. Manon Baril spent 20 years managing quantitative and qualitative research projects in Quebec and Ontario, both as a provider (Ad Hoc Research, Oraclepoll Research) and as a client of research services (Bell Canada, Hydro-Québec, Télébec / NorthernTel). She has conducted research projects for clients from both the private and public sectors in the following areas: telecommunications, energy, insurance/financial services, lotteries, media, education, mass-market products and retail businesses.
After spending some years as the Manager of Marketing Research at Télébec and NorthernTel, Ms. Baril joined Oraclepoll Research in 2002
as a consultant expert of marketing research projects in telecommunications industry and to establish the firm’s new Montreal office in
January 2003.
Ms. Baril brings a wealth of experience to Oraclepoll Research in her ability to manage multiple projects with an high level of quality, accuracy and efficiency; to train and manage staff; and to interact with client in both French and English. In addition to her duties of managing research projects, she is in charge of overseeing the operations of the Quebec and Ontario divisions and providing operational excellence to our growing company. Ms. Baril is a member of MRIA (Marketing Research and Intelligence Association).
